I think this picture pretty much speaks for itself so there’s not really much for me to do other than scream WU-TANG CLAN AIN’T NUTHIN’ TO F*** WIT’!!!!
Also if there were a show where the Wu-Tang Clan formed a detective agency and solved crimes using their street-smarts and unconventional hip-hop attitude, I would watch that show until my eyes dried out.
My iTunes was on random and this track came on from Enter the 37th Chamber by El Michels Affair. It’s a great cover of classic Wu and it increases the badass level of whatever it is you’re doing. (For the record, I was doing my laundry.)
I know it’s late but everyone needs to stop what they’re doing and pay close attention to this Wu-Tang related post. They’ve finally released the trailer to RZA’s long-awaited directorial debut, The Man with The Iron Fists and I’ll tell you, I’m sold. This movie has everything: knife fans, knife boots, iron fists, butt guns, cowboy Russell Crowe, sexy Asian girls, and what appears to be, a golden Colossus.
To be fair, the movie could be 90 minutes of RZA wandering around the city showing clips from other kung-fu movies and I’d still be there on opening night so perhaps I’m not the best judge.
As a bonus, here’s that Nintendo commercial that the Wu-Tang did after the jump…
UPDATED with animated GIFs if that’s how you like to get down!
The crowd puts up their W’s at the Raekwon and Ghostface Killah show at Dundas Square.
Whew! I can finally take See Any Founding Members of the Wu-Tang Clan Live off of my bucket list. (Sorry Cappadonna.)
It was an amazing show from Raekwon & Ghostface Killah for NXNE 2012 and it was free at Dundas Square. FREE!!! That probably sounds like a whole bunch of liberal, pie-in-the-sky mumbo jumbo and, you know what, it probably is but why are we arguing about politics when…RAE AND GHOST! AND WHAT!?! PROTECT YA NECK! REPPIN’ SHAOLIN MUTHAF**KAS!!
I apologize for that outburst. It’s honestly a Herculean task for me to remain cogent right now and try to write something that resembles a coherent thought because I just saw a performance of Triumph live. I was hoping to try and provide some kind of an objective review of the show but I’m afraid my bias for all things Wu has overridden that.
