Here’s an illustration I did for an upcoming show called StreamFest. It’s a show at the Comedy Bar that’s going to be simul-streamed live on Dailymotion so check out their site for all the pertinent information. There’s a lot of great acts involved so show them the appropriate love.
Now all I need to do is finish my posters of Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady and I’ll have a total Whose Line Is It Anyway? trifecta.
So here’s my new year’s resolution for 2013 (that I started in February because that’s when I thought it up)…
I’m going to make a new poster each month for my monthly comedy show, The Texas Comedy Massacre 2. I’ll post them in this little gallery so check back to see how this project is going. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
Growing up with the name Xerxes means that none of the other kids had ever really heard that name before except if they had read Edward Gorey’s The Gashlycrumb Tinies (or perhaps Herodotus’ Histories but I don’t think I’d want to hang out with that kid).
Anyway, happy birthday to the man that perfectly captured my cowardly cower.
